Newaygo County RESA Mech. Engineering II
POSITION:Mechanical Engineering II Instructor
QUALIFICATIONS: Four years of recent and relevant work experience directly related to the Computer
Aided Drafting area including experience with Auto CAD 07, Solid Works, Rapid Prototyping, control systems, mechanical systems, electronic systems, computer systems, and renewable energy resources preferable.
•A minimum of a BA degree.
•Must possess or have the ability to obtain full vocational teaching certification within five years.
REPORTS TO:Devon Pettis, Assistant Director of Career & Technical Education Services
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:A.Meet the individual needs of students.
B.Contribute to the total school effort.
C.Manage equipment and supplies.
D.Develop curriculum.
E.Implement curriculum and evaluate procedures.
F.Implement a system of classroom management and discipline.
G. Possess knowledge of NC RESA’s organization, mission and philosophy.
H.Provide feedback to the Director on supplies and equipment to promote the most
cost-effective and efficient program possible.
I.Act as a resource, if needed, to the general public, parents and students aattending or visiting the Center.
J.Perform other duties deemed appropriate by the Assistant Director of Career &
Technical Education Services.
STARTING DATE:Fall, 2010
TERMS:This is a school year position covered under the NCEA Master Agreement.
SALARY RANGE:Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with
current NC RESA salary schedules.
